• Voting for the school bond election will be May 13.

• Glasscock Underground Water Conservation District cancelled its May 13 board election, since there were no contested seats. Incumbents John Phillips and Larry Wheat remain as directors.
• Persons in elected positions in the county are being required to have training regarding the Texas open meetings and public information laws.
