   A Glasscock County 4-H Club community garage sale is set for May 15 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Community Center.  Proceeds from the sale will help 4-H members fund future project activities.

•  The 4-H Club has established a scholarship fund at the Garden City bank as a memorial to Todd Weishuhn.  Monies collected will fund a scholarship to be presented annually at the livestock show.

 Glasscock County Senior Citizens will meet June 8 and fried chicken will be furnished.  Bring something to go with fried chicken.  Please bring snacks for the meeting on June 15.

•  Lance Armstrong’s tennis camp in Garden City will be June 14 – 17 (4 days). Campers ages 4 – 8 will meet from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and the cost is $60.  Campers who are ages 9 – 18 will meet from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and the cost is $100.  Registration forms are available at Halfmann’s General Store.  For additional information, call Tammy Halfmann, 354-2367.

 Leroy Moore is giving piano lessons now and through the summer in Garden City at the First United Methodist Church.  Anyone interested should call Karen Wheeler at 397-2753 for information and scheduling.

If you are missing keys, please contact the Extension Office @354-2477. Two sets have been found.

The Adult 4-H Leaders Association thanks everyone who was involved in the 4-H Extravaganza.  It was a HUGE success.

  Baccalaureate services will be May 15 at 4 p.m. in the Ruth Cook Auditorium.

  GCHS graduation will be May 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ruth Cook Auditorium. 

  George and Doris Schwartz thank everyone for the beautiful cards, good wishes and prayers they received in honor of their fiftieth anniversary. Special thanks to all who came and helped us make it such a memorable occasion.  God bless all of you.
