Computers Available for Public Use
Steve Long reports that three computers with high speed, wireless Internet access, are now available for free, public use. One is located at the Glasscock Underground Water Conservation District office, and two are in the community center. In the future, additional public-use computers are to be located in the courthouse and in St. Lawrence at the Coop Gin.
In addition, Long says 10 laptop computers are available for public checkout from the school. Contact School Librarian Karen Rasco at 354-2230.
Funding for the project came from the same TIF Community Network Grant that is providing high-speed wireless Internet access in the county.
